Many web frameworks commonly used follow the same schema and architecture: a model, possibly with an ORM, a view, usally based on a templating system and a controller plus something to set routes.
This talk introduces other ways and other architectures of web frameworks than MVC-template-routes to inspire people to maybe go new ways.
I'll present an overview of Perl's Web::Machine (coming from Erlang), Smalltalk's web framework "Seaside" and R's web framework "Shiny" - all of which are something different than your run-of-the-mill MVC-routes-templates framework.
