About the German Perl Workshop conference 2018
The German Perl Workshop is an Open Source conference for everyone,
organized by community of the Perl Programming Language yearly in Germany.
The 2018 GPW takes place in TH Köln, Campus Gummersbach,
Steinmüllerallee 1, 51643 Gummersbach.
The Workshop will be organised by Niederrhein Perl Mongers (NR-PM) together with Frankfurt Perlmongers e.V. NR-PM meets every third thursday every month starting at 6 pm in Brauhaus "Im Roten Ochsen", Thurnmarkt 7, 50676 Köln. New people are highliy welcome. We communicate via mailinglist or Meetup.
Most of the talks will be held in German, but talks in English are welcome as well of course.
The workshop will be held at a university, so we hope to see some of the students among us. Actuall Perl is not part of their lectures, so some
"entry level" talks would be fine!
*) The workshop attendees will be welcomed with the preconference meeting on the evening of April 3th.
We work on an additional workshop covering Perl on IoT systems for April, 3th. On April 7th, we want to have a hackathon as closing event.
For accompanying family members with we will organize a partner program on the 3 conference days, or at least a list of places to explore on your own.
