In this talk, Salve J. Nilsen will be sharing some of his experiences from organizing Oslo Perl Mongers and other volunteer communities in Oslo, Norway. We'll use some of these as a basis for further discussion on how to make the Perl community better and more vibrant.

This will not be a regular presentation, but rather a fast-paced braindump followed by a public discussion about what works, what doesn't and what we can do to make it more fun to participate in the Perl community.

This talk will be an update of Salve's talks at YAPC::EU::2012 in Frankfurt and the Nordic Perl Workshop 2012 in Stockholm.
