perl6 has caused perl5 an issue, in that in the Real World(tm), employers want to shrink any usage of perl 5, given it is perceived as 'dying'.

One solution would be to rename perl6, or better yet, create a new variant of perl 5 with moose in the core, leapfrog perl6 and get the world of work buzzing about perl again, show it isn't out of fashion at all
