Module::Build is being removed from core in 5.20, which leads to the question "what else should we use, then?" Here, I provide to give some answers.

I'll start with a history of module installation. I will describe the current situation and recent work, to conclude with future possibilities.

Why me? Because I've been working on a Module::Build replacement. This summer, I hope to unveil it.
