I've been hacking Perl for 16 years now. About 12 years of that time I spent in the asylum for (upper) management. Both of us, the perl hacker as well as the manager, think that listening to the "other voice" may provide an oportunity for better own decisions and actions.
How does the hacker see the management decisions? How does the manager see the hackers opinion on management decisions? How does the hacker see the managers opinion on the hackers opinion?
Ahhh... anyway. Maybe the Perl community is interested to hear a "perl-friendly" managers' unvarnished opinion about Perl and the community? Namely rants about missing strategy?
Although none of us is paranoid, you may want to catch that talk as long as you have the chance to.
