What do massive scalability with dynamic languages, asynchronous web frameworks, and PHP error messages have in common?

Difficult to analyze, understand, or to even work with (especially the PHP part...), they all provide us with an intricate challenge. We are mostly unaware of our passively-active passive seeking of these challenges - these problems - and we are mostly unaware of how our lives change and wrap around them. But what if we shine a light on them, even briefly, as a whole? What if we try to trace through these challenges as silhouettes? How would they look like?

Most likely, they will look like a group of people at a Perl conference, talking about silhouettes representing their lives through the technical challenges they find and face on a daily basis.
