Project plans
Please include a short description on what you're planning to work on during the hackathon.
- Robin Smidsrød: I was hoping to get some help on the API for my upcoming Unicode::CLDR module, which is a unified parser for the big Unicode Common Locale Data Repository XML database. The CLDR is used as the authoritative source of a lot of localized content on multiple systems (like POSIX locale tables), and having better access to it would be a good help for localization efforts.I was planning on using XML::Rabbit, which is a middleware written with XML::LibXML and Moose that makes it quite easy to make OO APIs out of XML files. I might also try to improve my W3C::XMLSchema .xsd parser, which is based on XML::Rabbit as well. Other than that I would try to help out wherever I have the required skills.
- Toby Inkster: Attempt to get MooseX::Thunk working (use Data::Thunk for setting attributes lazily); then try to get MooseX::Semantic's rdfimport feature to exploit thunks for lazy loading. Investigate porting WWW::DataWiki to run on top of Magpie instead of Catalyst.
