Sometimes old Perl applications need to be maintained and enhanced. Often such applications may not have been built to the highest standards. They may be lacking in documentation. They may have been written by many people and have differing styles. They may not be using the best tools and methods.
I'll take a look at some of problems I have encountered and the solutions developed in maintaining and actively developing a lagacy perl application.
