It seems these have been repeated ad nauseam for years, especially by dilettantes and non-practitioners. As far as the speaker is concerned, it's well pst time to resist these notions. In fact, it's time to step up our game, because Perl 6 is in town!
In this presentation, Salve J. Nilsen will be ranting about our jobs, Open Source, culture and how well considered habits and principles can help us shape the code and people that make us repeatedly return to our community.
Salve is one of the regulars of Oslo Perl Mongers, severely brain-damaged by years of organizing events and in general not making a fuss out of his opinions. But not any more, dammit! Now he's just mad. :)
