How many obscure technologies can you stuff into a Perl script?

One of my private projects is a perl app the continuously reads the memory of another program in realtime, renders it in OpenGL and sends input back to the secondary program. It is a very eclectic mix of technologies, one of which i regard to be critical for the future of Perl, despite it being ignored by many. As such i'd like to present the app, what went into it and try to get people involved.
