Act and YACT
Act, "a Conference Toolkit" is the software used to register most of the Perl conferences, and this one in particular. It was built in 2003.
YACT is a rewrite that started at this hackathon.
Fusion Inventory
- Decided the roadmap for the future
- clarify what had to be done to finish the current release
- Meet Tomas Abad from Spain
- decided to migrate to AnyEvent, thanks to Olivier Mengué (dolmen)
Personal achievements
Olivier Mengué (dolmen)
- First CPAN release of System::Sub
- Started to commit on a new project: DiagRef">Test::DiagRef
- Made a pull request on Module::CPANTS::Analyse with the hope to get a fixed (see RT#80225) release sooner (dist has been broken by a change in a dependency since August)
- Presented a live tutorial on how to setup a personal local::lib-based CPAN workspace (and discovered the Mac keyborad by the way)
- Worked a bit on the Act reboot (mostly Dist::Zilla setup stuff)
- Submitted a pull request to the original Act
- Worked with Sébastien Aperghis-Tramoni (maddingue) on AnyEvent::NetSNMP::agent to try to fix issue #1. Submitted a little unrelated patch.
- Presented github-keygen to a non-french audience for the first time. This my first Perl talk in english ever.
- Brainstorm with the Fusion Inventory team about architecture changes for the agent
- Brought home-made chocoloate truffles that quickly disappeared
Torsten Raudssus (Getty)
- Worked on the Act reboot
- Presented the "Moving The Needle" talk
- Introduced Sébastien Feugère (smonff) to the DuckDuckGo translation management
Wendy Van Dijk (woolfy)
- Shopping for food and drinks and knives and christmas decoration
- Making pictures and a timelapse movie flickr page
- Keeping track of who is doing what, trying to avoid to let people too technical to me
- Helping Elbeho to keep the room clean
- Random noises and movements, trying to keep people off their work, maybe I was not annoying enough because a lot of work was done...
Sébastien Aperghis-Tramoni (maddingue)
- hacked a bit on YACT
- helped the FusionInventory team on a few things
- explained to Olivier Mengué (dolmen) the problem I have in AnyEvent::NetSNMP::agent
- identified a bug in Sys::Cmd, prereq of githook-perltidy
Sébastien Feugère (smonff)
- Wrote comments over some strings into the Duck Duck Go translation platform for helping user with contextualizing what they are translate
- Presented this work during my first-time-talk-in-front-of-mongers-community (afraid and happy). Nice to meet you !
Salve J. Nilsen (sjn)
- Helped a little with YACT, specifically the login bits and adding initial tests to see if YACT matches the URL scheme for Act.
- Gave a short presentation where i proposed the formal creation of a Perl Currency, the "Tuit" (ISO 4217 currency code "RTI"). The value of this currency is backed by the available _attention_ in the Perl community. We currently have a Tuit deficit.
- Otherwise spent some time trying to get into Dancer.
Pau Amma
- Wrote initial installment of updated (proofread/edited/expanded/corrected) documentation for App::Wallflower, will send to package author for review before the end of today.
- While doing the above, found and reported minor typos/inconsistencies in 2 other CPAN modules, got "fixed" emails from maintainers.
- Gave improvised short talk about my standing offer to help module authors improve their doc.
- Punned at Wendy Van Dijk (woolfy) (and anyone who'd stand still).
- Drank lots of coffee and Coke.

- Organization of the event
- Failed at installing (legacy) Act
- Add test Events for YACT
Guillaume Rousse (guillomovitch)
- Finished some new features for 2.3 release
- worked with Kevin on WakeOnLan task
Gonéri Le Bouder
- Ensure Windows support is in good shape
- Pushed on CPAN 3 different FusionInventory plugins
- Tried to make my children join the Perl community
- Worked with tabad on the Windows installer
- Fixed various bugs on the 2.3.x side

- Took pictures and shot movies
- Introduced short cuts as one shot
Tomás Abad
- To know the components of the FusionInventory Team.
- Be able to see them working together.
- Be able to participate in a conversation about the direction of the project.
- Share three days with people who has a big knowledge of Perl (I'm a beginner on it)
- Be able to practice my bad english and
- To make some improvements to the new Microsoft Windows installer for the FusionInventory Agent.
Stéphane Payrard (cognominal)
- pushed p6hilite to github , exploratory code to do syntax highlighting of Perl 6 code. It is done using the parse tree so it will be eventually be better than any heuristic.
- needed a nqp::isinvokable to get cleaner code. So I added it to nqp. See nqp patch
- helped lizmat to improve her understanding of rakudo internals

- participated remotely, longing to be here with everyone
- helped the YACT team with my knowledge of Act
- submitted some YACT issues on github
- made one patch to YACT (related to Git)
Marek Šuppa (mrshu)
- worked with Valentin on YACT templates
