ISO 27001 is an international standard related to information security. If you're storing information where you care about the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of it, then you should at least know about 27001, and increasingly your company might end up required to get certification.
I'm not an expert, but have been going through it with my company, so this talk will partly be catharsis.

- give an introduction
- relate it to GDPR and other standards
- describe what 27001 covers, and how it works
- share some of the lessons we've learned
