From next year, the GDPR and Data Protection Bill will give us the "right to be forgotten", to have our personal data removed from systems when it's no longer needed or simply if we withdraw consent.
Great in theory, but maybe less so if you're the developer with the job of implementing it in a typical business where data is... everywhere.
In this talk I'll cover the essential requirements of the GDPR, give an outline plan to make your systems compliant, and show tips and workarounds for the problems you're likely to encounter along the way.
