Testing Lies - The Worst Lies Are The Ones We Tell Ourselves
Testing Lies - The Worst Lies Are The Ones We Tell Ourselves aimed at Any and is held in English. This talk starts on 2014-03-28 at 14:00 for 40 minutes. It takes place at the Stage.
Testing is very popular in Perl and it definitely has increased the robustness of Perl and modules developed in Perl. However, as we start to get experienced in testing, we start to tell ourselves little lies, half-truths really, about all sorts of things related to testing. This isn't malicious — it's about an overly optimistic attitude we take towards things we appreciate. Ovid will explain many of these lies, their consequences, and when possible, present techniques to help you work around them.
