Using a Raspberry Pi + stepper motor, with some simple Perl, to pan a large format camera. Ultimately to take photographs of mountains.
This is more of a meditation on photography, the tools we use and how they inform our approach, rather than specifically a Perl or Pi talk. It does feature about 5mins of Perl + Pi at the end.
No knowledge of photography, Perl, or Pi is required, although I hope you will learn at least something about each of them if you attend this talk.
