Leading a multinational team of six different nationalities as well as working in a multicultural environment I found some key elements to achieve best results in delivering and encouraging communication.
Communication - in verbal and written form seems to be the most crucial one of them.
Every developer in your team understands blocks of code as we all share Perl as our everyday language. However, if projects are getting bigger, you can't even count on a single language. Language barriers - everywhere!
