This talk will show what happens when the wrong random number generator is chosen, and how ineffective ‘military grade’ encryption can be when used incorrectly.
I’ll try to demonstrate that learning a bit about crypto is worth the effort. Having a basic grasp of the basic concepts and pitfalls will help you avoid the common mistakes, and help you select the correct libraries and functions to use.
