Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) started in 2003 with Dan North's JBehave in Java. That led to RBehave and RSpec in Ruby and later Cucumber in Ruby, Java and many other languages including Perl. Peter Sergeant (SARGIE) gave us Test::BDD::Cucumber in CPAN. This talk explains BDD with live demos of Pete's framework. We'll compare this with similar ones in Ruby, JavaScript, C# and Go. We'll also examine a new Perl implementation under construction by the speaker.
