I've been working on a mechanism for identifying CPAN distributions that are in need of some love and attention, and thus might be candidates for adoption. Where these distributions are used by other distributions on CPAN these would make useful projects for anyone with tuits to spare.

I'll take through the evolution of the mechanism, ideas for further evolving it, and also touch on the adoption process.
