Dear YAPC::EU 2016 attendees, if you decide to bring your partner && kid(s) to YAPC::Europe 2016, you should know they’re in good hands. Irina will make sure they won’t stash themselves at the hotel, but enjoy the city && get plenty of action. Here's what she planned:
Let’s take a trip to history in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in the historic province of Transylvania.
Objectives:
- Church Saint Michael- one of the most beautiful Gothic monuments from Transylvania
- Unirii Square is an important plaza in the city of Cluj-Napoca in Romania. It is also considered as one of the largest squares and the city’s center spreads out from here.
- Museum Square (Piața Muzeului)
- the Ortodox Cathedral and Avram Iancu Square
- Cetatuia Hill for those who want to get a better picture of the city
Rates:
Guided Tour: 10-15 euro /person
Lunch: approx.: 15 Euro / person

Adrenalin Park is the first adventure park from Cluj-Napoca that cares for the healthy life of kids and adults.

Time to dive into something more traditional, The place ‘Gate under Feleac Hill’ is a living museum in the house of Capusan family. It’s not just a museum, but also a place where friends and visitors can sit and chat around a glass of ‘tuica’(traditional Romanian alcoholic drink made of plums) and tasty homemade cookies while seeing and trying the beautiful Romanian traditional costumes; there you can also try a walk to remember in a horse cart.
Also, lunch can be provided onsite. A traditional one, of course, so you'll be able to enjoy the tastes of Romania. Traditional food means: slanina, cheese, tomatoes, onion and tuica of course.
