Ovid refering to 'perl' as 'Battle-tested' was one of my favorite moments of last year's YAPC.
With this talk I aim to explain which elements of the perl ecosystem help you, as a developer, to worry only about those things that actually are your responsability (EG: avoid dependency hells).
After having the chance to be this year's perl QAH "intern" and working closely with the CPANTesters team, this very-idiosyncratic element of our community will surely be on the menu.
Finally, I will talk about what can you do to contribute work to make perl more 'Battle-tested'.
