The Workshop provides an international forum for practitioners and researchers from industry, academia and government. The Workshop is aimed at Perl users, professionals and hobbyists alike, but also to those who are just starting out in this language and want to learn its characteristics and culture. Presentations and discussions will cover all applied and theoretical work currently conducted about Perl related technologies.
The last editions of Italian Perl Workshop were a success: more than 100 attendees from all of Europe over 2 days of conference with free admission, 2 concurrent tracks + a Perl base course, more than 30 talks from 20 speakers. We plan to improve these numbers with the 2012 edition.

* Note on rooms:: Gold sponsors can give their name to one of the workshop rooms. Since there are just 2 rooms, assignment will be done using a "first come first served" policy.

Note on ordering: sponsors are being sorted on web pages and on printed material depending on three criteria: category, sponsorhip in money over same-value goods, moment the sponsorship was offered.
